VSA Renews Notice to City re: Fire Risk from 70 Remaining Campers on Venice Beach

After the recent two nights of fires along the Venice Boardwalk, the attorney for the Venice Stakeholders Association, along with several property owners, have again issued a letter to the City of Los Angeles underlining the extreme and certain liability the city faces for its failure to enforce laws along the Venice Beach Recreation Area banning camping and tents at night, and the prohibition contained in LAMC 63.44 against being in the VBRA during the 12 to 5 AM curfew hours when the park is closed.
